Waves of Stone, a new work for the Unison Piano Duo (Du Huang and Xiao Hu) will be premiered at Carnegie Hall in June.

Brooke will serve as composer-in-residence for the Water City Symphony in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, during the 2008-2009 season. Two new works will be premiered in October and March.

A new work will be premiered at the national Pi Kappa Lambda convention in Atlanta in September, 2008.

Memory Jewels was performed by the Relache ensemble in Philadelphia (see schedule below). A new work will be premiered by them in the spring of 2009.

Since 2000, Brooke served as a faculty member at the Walden School, an outstanding summer music program for young musicians and aspiring composers in Dublin, NH. He is now a faculty member of the newly created Teacher Training Institute.
