Hz

Sine wave player

Hz is a test oscillator. You give it a frequency in Hertz or octave.pitchclass and it plays a sine tone at that frequency. You can specify the amplitude in dB or as an integer. The test tone may be written to a file.

Hz is compiled for NeXT, Intel-based and Sparc machines running NeXTStep.
